Frequently asked questions
What is CBM in shipping?
CBM stands for cubic meters — the volume a shipment occupies, calculated as length x width x height in meters. Ocean and air freight are often priced by whichever is greater: CBM-based volumetric weight or actual weight.
How do I calculate CBM from centimeters?
Divide each dimension in centimeters by 100 to get meters, then multiply length x width x height. For example, a 120 x 80 x 100cm pallet is 1.2 x 0.8 x 1.0m = 0.96 CBM.
